Vintage

Vintage is a duo of extremely versitile and  talented ladies who perform music from the great American song book of the 30's, 40's and 50's.  As a duo, they can play softly in the background or, if requested, they can "jazz it up" with just enough energy to get your guests up on the floor and dancing.  Sandy and Glo are experienced musicians who know how to entertain your guests and add a touch of class to your special party or event.

in addition to the piano.  Sandy has an incredibly melodious vocal ability that has been compared to a mix of Peggy Lee and Patsy Cline,  which perhaps accounts for her love of jazz standards from the 1920's - 50's as well as classic country.  In 2011-2012 she was voted Colorado Hall of Fame "Queen of Country Music".   She has self produced 3 CD's including a holiday CD.

Gloria (Glo) began playing guitar in high school, influenced by the music of Chuck Berry, the Kingston Trio and Peter, Paul and Mary. In college, her musical influences broadened to include big band music. especially jazz standards from the 40's and 50's.  She joined her first band then and has been playing with other musicians ever since.  "I've been fortunate to play with some extremely talented musicians,: says Glo.  "They've challenged and inspired me to work hard and move beyond my comfort zone.  I really think I'm a better musician because of that."
